YWCA Utah

YWCA Utah is a comprehensive social services organization dedicated to advancing the well-being of women and families throughout Salt Lake City and the state of Utah. Since 1906, YWCA Utah has provided a full spectrum of services designed to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. The organization operates multiple programs addressing critical community needs, including domestic violence services, residential support, early childhood education, and youth programming. YWCA Utah's Domestic Violence and Residential Services division offers emergency shelter, transitional housing, case management, mental health counseling, job training, and comprehensive support for survivors and their children. The organization also operates the Lolie Eccles Early Education Center, providing childcare, preschool, and kindergarten services for children ages six weeks to six years. Additionally, YWCA Utah delivers after-school programming, teen initiatives, drop-in childcare, and children's services specifically designed for young survivors. The organization's Race and Gender Equity program serves as a leading voice for systemic change and advocacy on behalf of marginalized communities throughout Utah. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, YWCA Utah combines direct service delivery with community education and public policy advocacy. The Salt Lake Area Family Justice Center at YWCA Utah provides free, confidential services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and elder abuse. With six physical campus locations and a dedicated team of professionals, YWCA Utah remains committed to creating safe environments, building emotional intelligence, and fostering social responsibility within the Salt Lake City community and beyond.
