Women’s Fund of Central Indiana

Women's Fund of Central Indiana is a philanthropic organization dedicated to creating transformative and sustainable change for women and girls across the eight-county Central Indiana region, including Indianapolis. Since its founding in 1996, the organization has mobilized people, ideas, and investments to expand options and opportunities for women and girls in the community. Women's Fund executes its mission through transformative grants to effective nonprofit organizations, philanthropy education for donors, and strategic advocacy for women's rights.

The organization focuses its grantmaking and programming on four key priority areas: health for women and girls, including reproductive health and mental health support; personal safety and intimate partner violence prevention; economic mobility and workforce development; and issues impacting girls. Women's Fund also manages legacy programs including OPTIONS and GO: Give Back, along with community engagement initiatives like the annual Power of Women event and Night of 100 Women. As a special interest fund of the Central Indiana Community Foundation and a 501(c)3 organization, Women's Fund accepts charitable donations designated to both endowment and operating funds. The organization is led by experienced staff and an Advisory Board committed to ensuring that all women and girls in Indianapolis and Central Indiana can exercise full power to decide how to live their lives.
