Women's Foundation For a Greater Memphis

The Women's Foundation for a Greater Memphis (WFGM) is a philanthropic organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through strategic grant-making, leadership development, and community collaboration. Based in Memphis, TN, WFGM has distributed over $37 million to more than 632 programs across more than 185 local non-profits since 1995, demonstrating a sustained commitment to systemic change. The organization operates through three core pillars: philanthropy, leadership, and collaboration. As a backbone organization, WFGM aligns resources and coordinates community-based services using a two-generation approach that addresses both immediate needs and long-term family stability.
