Women’s Bar Association of Orange & Sullivan Counties

The Women's Bar Association of Orange & Sullivan Counties, based in Goshen, NY, is a professional organization dedicated to advancing women in the legal profession and promoting justice throughout the community. As one of 20 chapters of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY), which represents more than 4,400 members statewide, WBAOSC provides comprehensive professional development and networking opportunities for attorneys and legal professionals. The organization offers continuing legal education (CLE) programs at reduced rates for members, covering various legal topics throughout the year. Members gain access to exclusive networking events, including the popular Lunch with a Judge series, which facilitates valuable connections between the bench and bar in a relaxed, professional setting. The association also provides opportunities to serve on standing committees and participate in state-level initiatives addressing issues of significance to women attorneys. Additionally, WBAOSC maintains a 501(c)(3) foundation established in 2008 that provides scholarships and funds programs supporting the education and advancement of women lawyers.
