Women as One

Women As One is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing gender equity in cardiology and medicine through targeted professional development opportunities. Based in Severna Park, MD, the organization provides women cardiologists with access to specialized training, mentorship programs, and career advancement resources designed to address systemic barriers they face in the healthcare industry. Founded in 2019 by internationally recognized leaders Dr. Roxana Mehran and Dr. Marie-Claude Morice, Women As One focuses on four strategic areas: amplifying women's voices in medicine, fortifying the pipeline through educational programs and awards, unifying healthcare organizations around diversity and inclusion goals, and publishing research on gender equity in cardiology. The organization connects thousands of women cardiologists worldwide with opportunities for leadership development, research collaboration, and professional networking.
