UT Austin Women in Civil Engineering

UT Austin Women in Civil Engineering is a dedicated student organization at the University of Texas Austin committed to supporting and advancing women pursuing degrees in civil engineering. Founded in Spring 2016, WICE addresses a critical gap in the civil engineering community by providing specialized resources, mentorship, and professional development opportunities exclusively designed for undergraduate women in the field.

The organization operates with a clear mission to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where women civil engineering students can build meaningful connections, develop leadership skills, and gain valuable career insights. Through regular general meetings held every other Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM, members engage in peer mentorship, participate in networking events, and connect with accomplished alumni and faculty role models who serve as guides for their professional journeys.
