Founded in 2019 by Executive Director Rhiannon Carnes, the organization operates through both Ohio Women's Alliance and its affiliated action fund, Ohio Women's Action Fund. Their work centers on advancing agency for all women over their bodies, safety, education, and economic prosperity, with particular focus on serving BIPOC women and gender-expansive folks throughout the state.
