The Notre Dame Women's Water Polo Team is a competitive club organization representing the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, IN, offering comprehensive water polo training and competition at the collegiate level. Since its founding in 1995, the program has developed into a nationally competitive force, maintaining a top-12 national ranking among club teams since 2001 and competing in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Midwestern division. The team competes throughout the academic year, with fall semester focused on fundamentals, conditioning, and strategy development, followed by spring competition featuring tournaments across the Midwest and participation in the prestigious CWPA National Competition in April.

The program welcomes athletes of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced players, providing structured instruction in water polo fundamentals and advanced competitive strategies. Athletes benefit from year-round training that includes regular practice sessions, semester-ending tournaments for preparation, and extensive spring competition against nationally ranked club teams and Division III varsity programs. The team's annual Spring Break training trip to California provides specialized coaching and high-level competition opportunities.

Recent achievements demonstrate the program's excellence, with multiple players earning First Team and Second Team All-Midwest Conference honors over the past seven years.
