About Harmonia

Harmonia is the University of Notre Dame's premier all-female a cappella group, delivering dynamic vocal performances across Notre Dame, IN and beyond. Founded in 2000, Harmonia has established itself as a cornerstone musical ensemble, specializing in contemporary arrangements spanning multiple genres and eras. The group performs an impressive repertoire ranging from classic Sinatra standards to modern hits by artists like Rihanna, Queen, and Fergie, showcasing versatility and musical excellence.

Based in Notre Dame, Indiana, Harmonia maintains an active performance schedule throughout the academic year, appearing at numerous on-campus venues including Welcome Weekend events, tailgates, campus bookstore performances during Football Fridays, and various university-sponsored occasions. The ensemble also extends its reach beyond campus, performing at other universities and community events. Each semester concludes with a comprehensive all-Harmonia concert that showcases the group's arranged works and individual member talents.

Harmonia offers members comprehensive musical development opportunities, including solo performance experience, music arrangement training, and vocal technique instruction including beatboxing. The group arranges and performs approximately ten covers each semester, allowing members to develop both interpretive and technical skills. With a commitment to musical excellence and creative expression, Harmonia continues to serve the Notre Dame community and surrounding areas with high-quality a cappella entertainment and performance opportunities.
