Coalition of Labor Union Women Central Ohio Chapter

The Coalition of Labor Union Women Central Ohio Chapter serves the Columbus, OH community as part of America's only national organization dedicated exclusively to union women. Since 1974, CLUW has championed the rights and advancement of women within the labor movement through focused advocacy and strategic action programs. The Central Ohio Chapter works to empower women for greater participation at all levels in union leadership while organizing the unorganized and promoting social and economic justice in the workplace. Members address critical workplace issues including equal pay, job security, safe working conditions, affordable health care access, and protection from sexual harassment and violence. The organization also advocates for essential benefits such as child and elder care support, contraceptive equity, and expanded family protections.
