The Coalition of Labor Union Women Baltimore Chapter advances the rights and representation of union women through strategic advocacy and empowerment initiatives. As part of America's only national organization dedicated exclusively to union women, the Baltimore Chapter works to increase women's participation at all levels within the labor movement while addressing critical workplace issues. Members actively work to eliminate sexual harassment and violence in the workplace while championing contraceptive equity and comprehensive social and economic justice protections. Serving the Baltimore, MD community and beyond, the Chapter organizes the unorganized, promotes affirmative action initiatives, and amplifies women's voices in political and legislative processes. Founded on four core objectives established at CLUW's 1974 founding convention, the Baltimore Chapter continues to mobilize union women around shared concerns and develop actionable programs within the labor movement framework.
