Alpha Pi Omega, Iota Chapter at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ represents the nation's oldest Indigenous Greek letter organization, bringing nearly three decades of excellence in sisterhood and community service to the campus. Established in 1994 at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Alpha Pi Omega has grown to encompass more than 900 sisters representing over 130 tribes nationwide across 25 chartered chapters. The Iota Chapter, chartered in 2008, carries forward the sorority's core mission of creating a strong sisterhood that supports college and professional women in achieving balanced, purposeful lives.

The sorority operates on four fundamental principles that guide all member activities: respecting Indigenous traditions, supporting self-renewal through continuous education, honoring the Creator, and addressing critical issues facing Native communities and society. Members are dedicated to advancing greater scholarship, honesty, leadership, service, and personal integrity within their academic and professional pursuits. The organization actively preserves Indigenous cultural and spiritual heritage through celebration and practice, strengthening the bonds of sisterhood among Native college women.

At Arizona State University in Tempe, the Iota Chapter provides comprehensive support for its members across multiple dimensions of college life.
